PROJECT BRIEF

Galleria is a virtual exhibition space and artist opportunity database which will officially launch August of 2024. My client contacted me to help them prepare for their social media “pre-launch” as their goal is to build a social media following before their official launch in 2024.

Their brand package included:

  • A primary horizontal logo

  • A secondary square logo

  • Instagram highlight covers & seamless carousel launch post

  • Colors and Typefaces

  • An Instagram color and gradient grid

My client’s brand aspires to create a sense of excitement and intrigue around the idea of virtual art exhibitions, which started to become more prominent in the art world during the pandemic. They wanted a logo that would stand out amongst the majority of gallery and museum logos, many of which are inspired by Greco-Roman architecture and symbolism.

During the mood-board phase of the design process, it became evident that my client was drawn to Art Deco style design. It was clear I needed to give my client options that were reminiscent of the roaring 20’s, but paired with other contemporary brand assets.
