Erin Sedra is a graphic designer from Minnesota. Her career began at the age of 16 when she volunteered to design promotional material for an organization in her hometown. She was soon hired on as a part time designer. Erin was completely self taught at this point, and eventually went on to pursue her formal education in visual studies.
She received her Associates of Liberal Arts at Northland Community College and her Bachelors of Art with an emphasis in graphic design from the University of North Dakota. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Fine Arts at Missouri State University where she has been awarded a full Graduate Teaching Assistantship award and will graduate in May of 2024. Erin has experience teaching 2D Design, Art In Context, Graphic Design and New Media as an Instructor of Record at Missouri State, as well as Portrait Photography, News & Advertising Photography, and Digital Imaging as an adjunct Instructor at Iowa Lakes Community College.
Erin has exhibited work across the midwest as well as internationally. Her work was featured at The Springfield Art Museum in Springfield, MO as well as the Calligraphy Art Museum in Seoul, South Korea. As of most recently, one of her posters was selected for exhibit in Poland and China with the United States International Poster Exhibition where it won the gold award in the social activism category.
Outside of her academic research, Erin helps business owners bring their brand identity visions to life by designing logo packages. She is currently accepting new clients for 2024.
